Each Web site is unique in regards to the message you are sending. An e-commerce site is selling products, therefore will have photos of products. A service oriented company may have photos of their staff or customer support personnel to add a friendly face to the voice on the phone. Your individual needs will dictate whether you want photos or graphic images on your site. A unique way to add style to your web site is to custom design graphics to match your logo, products, subject, architecture of your building, you name it. Custom designed graphics are a effective way to integrate your companies identity into your site beyond just adding a logo. Clip art, which are simple line-art drawings, used with or without color, are a quick, cost effective way to add style to a web site. Application of clip art can range from funny cartoon characters dancing across the screen, to simple drawings that match the links on your page. Keep in mind that all the clip art on your site should match. Don't clutter things up with mismatched scraps of stuff that look like they were cut out of magazines.
