A
very lovely filter effect. Especially useful for floral or scenic
photographs. Creates a colorful, artistic mood. Matches nicely with
bright cheerful colors.

perfect filter for old time photos. The texture can be in canvas,
burlap, linen, sandpaper or many other paper textures. Photos of people
look like portraits using the canvas filter. Buildings and landscapes
can actually appear to be paintings.

Embossing
is an expensive printing process and usually signifies a high quality
product. Now that same effect can be accomplished with the use of
the embossing filter. The embossing filter is a bit tricky, but when
applied to a suitable photo, can achieve an effect that simulates
the old embossing process. This filter works best on linear type photographs
of buildings or architecture.

The outlines filter is another tricky filter. When applied to a photo with distinct lines, a striking effect is created. Photos of buildings or objects with medium detail and distinct shapes are the most suitable for this jazzy filter. |

The
patchwork or tile filter breaks an image into small squares represented
by one color with a small shadow on each square. This filter creates
a distinct image that can be used in many creative ways. Because this
filter breaks the image into small bits, it is best to use photos
that don't require a lot of detail in the finished image.

The poster filter creates large areas of color from surrounding colors. The effect is a block print effect that is easily used for headers, toolbars, or graphic areas to be used in the background. This filter works well with photos that have large areas of color and simple backgrounds. |

The sketch filter creates a black and white line drawing of a photo. A great filter for photos that have a fair amount of detail. Images created with this filter can be used in headers, toolbars, and graphics for page headers. |

A terrific filter for creating movement or action in a image. The wind amount can vary depending on the effect desired. Great images can be created of cars, airplanes, motorcycles, anything that moves. |
| Watercolor | |

The watercolor filter is another artistic effect filter. Images created with the watercolor filter tend to be darkened and are best suited for use as images that do not require detail in the final image. A suitable effect can be accomplished on photos of just about any sort. The detail of the filter is adjustable for a variety of final images. |

The color pencil filter is a lot of fun. Photos become a colorful crosshatch of lively detail. The images from this filter can be used in logos, headers, toolbars, or graphics or page headers. Floral, scenic and abstract type photos are best suited to this filter. |
